At present, it is an abandoned temple. It is assumed that it may have been built or renovated in the early Rattanakosin period. Important ancient sites within the temple are: The Ubosot has a beautiful southern indigenous architectural style, stone parapets, glass walls and Chinese arches, bell towers and retaining walls.
